We got letters from our Pen Pals in America!!!
We're writing letters back to them this week. Please send in a picture of your child to send with the letters. Some of the 3rd graders sent small things to us (i.e. bracelet, Pokemon cards, magnet). If you would like, you can bring something small in and I will add it to the package.

IT'S TIME FOR A FIELD TRIP
Grades 1 and 2 are taking our first field trip next Thursday, February 16 to Safari World. We'll have an action packed day filled with a safari ride, a chance to feed giraffes, a seal and orangutan show, and a buffet lunch. We would also love to have a photo scavenger hunt throughout the day where the students hunt for things on a list and document their findings through pictures. Please respond by email if you are interested in sending yours or your child's camera to school this day for their own personal use during this activity.
Be on the look out for permission slips that we will be sending home in your child's folder soon.
